Installation of the License Server for
SILVERRUN BPM / RDM Network (using 'License Manager')

  1. Create a directory named 'License_Server' on the computer that is dedicated to be the server for your SILVERRUN licenses.

  2. Copy into the 'License_Server' directory, the content of this SILVERRUN CD directory: (CD):\Security_Mechanism\License_Server\Win_nt (for Win NT, 2K and XP) or (CD):\Security_Mechanism\License_Server\Win_9x (for Win 98, Millenium)
or from the corresponding downloaded kit
(See License Manager Server in the Security Mechanism section in our download page)

  3. Start ECHOID.EXE in the 'License_Server' directory. Note the lock-code, and email it to support@silverrun.com. We will generate your license file. You will receive a 'lservrc' file by email. Copy this file to the 'License_Server' directory.

  4. Start 'loadls.exe' in the 'License_Server' directory. Keep the path and click on the ADD button to install the SentinelLMTM service on your license server.

  5. (You may have to restart your server at this step if the service is not present.) Go to Administration tools. (in the Control Panel of the license server) Open 'Services' panel. Start the SentinelLMTM service. (Set it to 'automatic' if you want the license server to be launched at startup.)

Installation of the Client Application
SILVERRUN BPM / RDM Concurrent User (using 'License Manager')

  1. You can install the SILVERRUN application from an installation CD or a downloaded installation file on the client computer.

  2. In the 'Complete, Trial or Demo Version' step, choose 'License Manager' with the appropiate network setting.

  3. When the installation is complete, go to the 'Application' directory and open the 'lshost' file with a text editor (like NotePad). Replace 'NO NET' by the IP address or the name server of the License Server computer. If you use a dynamic IP address network, you only put the first three numbers of the IP and replace the forth by ' * ' ( Ex. 172.16.1.* )
